Proton VPN price today and our price history

This page puts the offer Proton VPN shows on its pricing page next to what we recorded ourselves, so you can see whether today’s price is lower than before.

Proton VPN plans and our price record

Advertised prices · Belgium Show prices for another country Currency

Prices as shown to a visitor in the country named above the table (providers with one worldwide price: that price; no reading for your country: the Belgian price), read from each provider's own pricing page, most of them every night; the date under each name is the last reading. We follow these prices since October 8, 2026; this table was built on November 2, 2026. Text in quotation marks is the provider's wording, in the language of the page we read.

For each Proton VPN plan the table shows the longest term we read on the pricing page. Shorter terms, the renewal price and the sources are on the Proton VPN page.

Proton Unlimited discount

Proton Unlimited is Proton’s bundle: the same VPN as VPN Plus, sold together with the paid versions of Proton’s other services. The table above has its own row for it, with today’s price, the offer in Proton’s words and the lowest price we recorded.

• The discount sits on the longer terms. Proton’s pricing page lists Proton Unlimited for 1, 12 and 24 months; the longest term has the lowest price per month, and the table compares it with the monthly plan.
• What the higher price buys. According to Proton’s pricing page, Proton Unlimited adds the paid Proton Pass (50 vaults, unlimited hide-my-email aliases, Dark Web Monitoring), 500 GB of Proton Drive storage and Proton Mail with 15 addresses. VPN Plus comes with the free versions of those services, which every Proton account has.
• The VPN is the same. If you only want the VPN, VPN Plus is the cheaper row in the table. The plans side by side, with sources: Proton VPN page.

We list what Proton says each plan includes; we have not tested the other services.

Proton VPN promo code or coupon: do you need one?

We do not publish promo codes, coupon codes or discount codes. We only show what we can check: the price on Proton VPN’s own public pricing page.

• No code is needed for the price above. It is what every visitor sees, without an account and without a code.
• Today’s price stands next to the earlier price. Both come from Proton VPN’s own pricing page; the table shows when we read them.
• A lower price at checkout wins. If Proton VPN shows you a lower amount on the payment page than we recorded, that amount is the one that counts.

What to check before you pay

1. The first payment. That is the amount that leaves your account; it is shown under the monthly price.
2. The renewal price. After the first term most plans renew at a higher price: see what a VPN really costs.
3. The refund period. It lets you test Proton VPN on your own devices before the money is really spent.

How we follow the Proton VPN price

We read Proton VPN’s public pricing page again and again and keep every reading with its date. “Price before” and “Lowest we saw” come from that record, which is only as old as the start date under the table. How we read prices is described in the methodology.

All providers side by side: VPN deals, checked. Whether a November offer is really lower: Black Friday, checked against our record.
