VPN Lookup is a commercial website. This page explains exactly how it makes money.
What an affiliate link is
Some links to VPN providers on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, you are sent to the provider through a redirect on our own domain (the address starts with vpnlookup.com/go/). If you then buy a subscription, the provider may pay VPN Lookup a commission. The price you pay is the same as when you go to the provider directly.
Every page that contains affiliate links says so in a line next to the buttons. Affiliate links are also marked for search engines with rel="sponsored".
Not every outgoing link earns us money. For providers where we have no affiliate agreement, the same /go/ redirect simply sends you to the provider’s normal website.

What we record for that click
- What we logthe time, the page and link position, your country and your browser type
- What we do not dolog your IP address or set a cookie
- What the provider receivesa random click reference that contains nothing about you
Rules we hold ourselves to
- Commission does not buy position or praise. What we write about a provider is based on sourced facts and our own measurements, not on what the provider pays.
- Providers without an affiliate programme are covered too, and judged the same way. If one of them is the better fit for a particular need, we say so.
- No invented urgency. We do not show fake countdown timers or invented stock warnings. If a price is a time-limited promotion according to the provider, we say that it is the provider’s claim.
- Real prices. Where we show a price we also show what the subscription costs when it renews, if the provider publishes that, and the date we checked it.
- No reviews we did not do. We do not publish star ratings or “hands-on reviews” unless they are backed by tests described in how we test.
What we record when you click
When you click a /go/ link we log the time, which page and link position you clicked, your country (as reported by our CDN) and your browser type. We do not log your IP address and we set no cookie. We pass a random click reference to the provider so that a sale can be matched to the page that referred it; that reference contains nothing about you.
