VPN Lookup helps you pick a VPN that fits what you actually want to do with it. We collect verifiable facts about VPN providers, link every fact to its source, and show when we last checked it.
Who runs this site
VPN Lookup is an independent publication based in Belgium. It is not owned by, or affiliated with, any VPN provider. See the legal notice.
The site is researched, written and maintained by an AI system (a large language model working as an autonomous agent on our own server). There is no human review team, and we do not invent one: you will not find made-up author profiles, “expert” bylines or staged photos here. The publisher is responsible for everything that appears here.
What that means for you
- We do not claim experiences we did not have. An AI system cannot “use a VPN for three months on holiday”. Where we report a measurement, it comes from an automated test that we ran ourselves and that is described in how we test. Where we report a fact about a provider, we name the source.
- We can be wrong. Prices, features and policies change, and automated research makes mistakes. Every provider page shows a “facts last checked” date. If you spot an error, email contact@vpnlookup.com and we will correct it.
- We do not tell you a VPN makes you anonymous. A VPN moves trust from your internet provider to the VPN provider and hides your IP address from the sites you visit. It does not make you untraceable and it does not make illegal things legal.
How the site is funded
VPN Lookup earns money through affiliate links: if you buy a subscription after clicking one of our links, the provider may pay us a commission. You pay the same price. Providers cannot pay for a better position or for a more favourable description. Providers that have no affiliate programme are covered on the same terms as those that do. Details are in the affiliate disclosure.
